Nurses:

Following qualifications are requierd:

  • Education: Require a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Licensure: Require current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and proof of passing the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

  • Clinical experience: Prefer candidates with previous clinical experience in the specialty area they will be working in.

  • Communication skills: Seek candidates with excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.

  • Compassion and empathy: Look for candidates with a caring and empathetic demeanor to provide high-quality care to patients.

  • Attention to detail: Require a strong attention to detail in order to provide accurate and safe care to patients.

  • Physical ability: Require candidates to be able to physically perform the duties of a nurse, including lifting and moving patients, as well as standing for long periods of time. 

  • A background check and verification of previous employment also be required.

  • Pay rate $50 – $60 per hour.

Surgical Technician:

A Surgical Technologist is a vital member of the surgical team who is responsible for preparing the operating room, assisting the surgeon during procedures, and ensuring the patient’s safety. A job description for a Surgical Technologist is include the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room: Set up and arrange sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.

  • Assist the surgeon: Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to the surgeon during procedures, as well as maintain a sterile field.

  • Collaborate with the surgical team: Work effectively with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and other members of the surgical team to ensure a seamless and efficient procedure.

  • Maintain equipment: Ensure all surgical equipment is in good working order and properly cleaned and sterilized between procedures.

  • Follow infection control procedures: Adhere to infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.

  • A background check and verification of previous employment also be required.

  • Pay rate $35 – $45 per hour.

  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a surgical technology certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology, clinical experience in a surgical setting, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced and stressful environment. 

 

Medical Assistant:

A Medical Assistant is an essential member of a healthcare team who supports both clinical and administrative tasks in a medical office or clinic. A job description for a Medical Assistant may include the following responsibilities:

  • Clinical tasks: Take vital signs, assist with medical procedures, and perform basic laboratory tests.

  • Patient care: Communicate with patients to understand their concerns and needs, and provide education and guidance on preventive health measures.

  • Administrative tasks: Schedule appointments, maintain medical records, and handle billing and insurance-related tasks.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment: Keep the examination rooms and equipment clean and organized.

  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

  • Pay rate $21 – $30 per hour.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification as a Medical Assistant, strong communication skills, and a compassionate and professional demeanor. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and basic computer skills are also important. A background check and verification of previous employment may also be required.

 

A Sterile Processing Technician:

A Sterile Processing Technician, also known as a Central Service Technician, is responsible for decontaminating, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment. A job description for a Sterile Processing Technician are include the following responsibilities:

  • Decontamination: Decontaminate and prepare surgical instruments and equipment for sterilization.

  • Sterilization: Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes to ensure that instruments and equipment are properly sterilized.

  • Quality control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that sterilized instruments and equipment meet established standards.

  • Inventory management: Maintain accurate records of instruments and equipment, and manage the inventory to ensure that sufficient supplies are available for surgeries and procedures.

  • Equipment maintenance: Clean and maintain sterilization equipment, and troubleshoot and resolve any issues.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulations, standards, and guidelines related to sterilization, including OSHA and AAMI standards.

  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including surgeons, nursing staff, and other technicians, to ensure that surgical instruments and equipment are available when needed.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification as a Sterile Processing Technician, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with sterilization techniques and equipment is also important. A background check and verification of previous employment may also be required.
